We are seeking a board-certified General Surgeon with expertise in breast-conserving, oncoplastic, and reconstructive techniques for a 45-day locum tenens assignment in Massachusetts. This opportunity starts Feb 18, 2026, and features a Wednesday to Friday schedule with clinic and OR days. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent communication and teamwork skills and is comfortable providing both surgical and clinical care for patients with breast disease.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Conduct pre-operative consultations and post-operative follow-ups
  • Perform surgical assessment and management of patients with benign and malignant breast disease
  • Supervise advanced practice providers (APPs)
  • Independently round on inpatients
  • Field calls from outpatients and the emergency department on assigned days
  • Schedule and manage clinic appointments (typically 15-20 minutes each)
  • Review ED consults as needed, with support from an inpatient PA group

Additional Information
  • Board certification in General Surgery required (will consider board eligible within one year)
  • Must hold or be eligible for a Massachusetts medical license
