Responsibilities and Duties
Provide 24-hour weekend call coverage for a 49-bed hospital
Perform and manage general surgical cases (approximately 65 cases per month)
Cover 3 operating rooms, a 9-bed emergency department, and a 4-bed fast track unit
Perform ICU and critical care procedures as required
Respond to emergent and inpatient surgical needs
Utilize Epic EMR for clinical documentation and patient management
Additional Information
Must be board certified in General Surgery
Active North Carolina medical license required
Recent experience with general surgery cases preferred
Orientation required the day before first shift
