Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide general surgery services in an outpatient clinic setting during the week
- Perform surgical procedures including gallbladder, hernia, bowel obstruction, and appendix cases
- Participate in operating room days as scheduled
- Take 24-hour weekend call as part of a 7 on/7 off rotation
Additional Information
- Iowa medical license required
- Board certification in General Surgery required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required
