Responsibilities and Duties
- Perform general surgery procedures, including both upper and lower scopes as the majority of cases
- Provide patient care in both clinic and operating room settings
- Manage inpatient and outpatient surgical cases as required
- Take 24-hour call during the assignment, including overnight and weekend coverage
- Ensure accurate documentation and adherence to clinical protocols
Additional Information
- Active New Mexico medical license required
- Must have a clean background for temporary privileges and submission must include NPDB report
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required
- Board certification in General Surgery required
- No flexibility on assignment dates
