Job Description

Our client in Oregon is seeking a dedicated General Surgeon for an 84-day assignment commencing Apr 27, 2026. This dynamic role involves comprehensive general surgery clinic and call coverage, with a schedule encompassing 8:30a - 5p for clinic shifts and 7:30a - 3p on surgery days. The chosen Physician will manage a diverse range of duties, including scheduled surgeries, running trauma codes, performing breast surgery, colonoscopy, laparoscopic procedures, endoscopy, and EGDs, with scopes being a 100% requirement.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide general surgery clinic and call coverage
  • Perform scheduled surgeries
  • Manage call responsibilities, which may include 24-hour call
  • Conduct scopes (100% required)
  • Run trauma codes
  • Perform breast surgery and biopsy
  • Execute colonoscopy procedures
  • Conduct laparoscopic procedures
  • Perform endoscopy
  • Conduct EGDs
