Responsibilities and Duties
Manage emergency and possible trauma cases in a hospital setting
Provide surgical care and interventions as needed
Sign off on necessary documentation (no APP supervision required, but occasional sign-off may be needed)
Collaborate with medical staff to ensure comprehensive patient care
Adhere to hospital protocols and standards
Additional Information
Board certification in General Surgery required
Tennessee medical license required
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required
Must have recent emergency surgery experience
Candidates should be able to start quickly and qualify for temporary privileges
