Job Description

We are seeking a Geriatric Psychiatrist in New York for a 7-day assignment starting Mar 16, 2026. Our client requires coverage for their inpatient geriatric psychiatry unit, including rounding on patients and participating in on-call duties during 7a - 7p shifts. This role involves managing a diverse range of standard inpatient geriatric psychiatric cases.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Covering the inpatient geriatric psychiatry unit
• Rounding on patients
• Participating in on-call duties
• Managing cases involving Dementia and Alzheimer's Disease, Depression, Anxiety, Delirium, Bipolar Disorder, and Schizophrenia

Additional Information

• Board Certification in Psychiatry required
• EMR: Meditech EHR
• Shift hours: 7a - 7p
