We are seeking an experienced Geriatric Nurse Practitioner for a 60-day locum tenens assignment in California, beginning Oct 13, 2025. The ideal candidate will have recent geriatric or adult health experience in FQHC, rural health, or IHS settings and must possess an active CA DEA and furnishing license.

Responsibilities and Duties
Provide comprehensive primary care for geriatric and adult patients
Manage acute and chronic health conditions within the scope of geriatric practice
Deliver culturally competent care to a patient population where approximately 75 percent are Spanish-speaking, supported by translators and Spanish-speaking medical assistants
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members
Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
Adhere to all clinical protocols and compliance standards
Additional Information
Locum experience is required
Recent experience in Geriatrics or Adult Health is mandatory; Urgent Care, Internal Medicine, and Pediatrics experience will not be accepted
Flexibility in scheduling is essential; requests for specific days off such as Fridays or Mondays may not be accommodated
