We are actively seeking a Geriatric Nurse Practitioner for a 104-day locum tenens assignment in Maryland, starting on Aug 12, 2025. This position involves working Tuesdays and Fridays from 7:30 AM to 7:30 PM, encompassing both patient rounding and on-call responsibilities. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care in med management, ordering labs, and other related duties in a geriatric setting.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Conduct patient rounding for assessments and follow-ups
  • Manage medication for elderly patients
  • Order and interpret lab tests and blood tests
  • Ensure continuous care through effective med management
  • Handle on-call responsibilities to address urgent patient needs

Additional Information
  • Must be board certified in Geriatric Medicine, Hospice and Palliative Medicine, or Hospital Medicine
  • Required to have a DEA certification
  • Experience in hospitalist settings or assisted living facilities preferred
