We are seeking a Geriatrician for a locum tenens assignment in California, starting Feb 17, 2026, for a 60-day contract. This Monday through Friday, full-time opportunity focuses on PACE work with low patient volume, supporting patients aged 55 and older in underserved communities.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Provide all-inclusive care for patients 55 years and older in a PACE setting
  • Complete paperwork and administrative tasks as required
  • Serve a predominantly Spanish-speaking patient population, with translator and medical assistant support
  • Deliver care to underserved patients, including a high percentage of Medicaid recipients
  • Ensure compliance with all clinical and regulatory standards

Additional Information
  • Locum experience required
  • Experience in FQHC, Rural Health, or IHS settings preferred
  • Recent geriatric-focused clinical experience is mandatory; experience in urgent care, internal medicine, or pediatrics will not be accepted
  • Active California DEA and furnishing license required
  • Board certification in Geriatric Medicine required
