 We are seeking a skilled Geriatric Physician for a locum tenens position at a healthcare facility in Florida. This 120-day assignment begins on 06/16/2025, with a daily schedule from 8:30 AM to 4:20 PM. The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing a diverse caseload of geriatric patients, including high-risk (15-20%), emerging risk (10-20%), and low-risk (70-80%) cases. The physician should be patient-centered, tech-savvy, and experienced in geriatrics and preventative medicine. The primary goal is to provide comprehensive care that keeps patients out of the hospital. Responsibilities and Duties:

• Provide comprehensive geriatric care for a diverse patient panel

• Manage high-risk, emerging risk, and low-risk geriatric cases

• Implement preventative care strategies to reduce hospital admissions

• Conduct thorough patient examinations and develop personalized treatment plans

• Accurately code and chart patient encounters using eClinicalWorks EHR system

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes

• Demonstrate strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Stay updated on the latest geriatric care practices and preventative medicine techniques

• Educate patients and their families on health management and preventive care

Additional Information:

• Must be licensed to practice in Florida

• Board certification in Geriatric Medicine required

• Proficiency in eClinicalWorks EHR system preferred

• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with elderly patients
