We are seeking a board-certified Internal Medicine or Family Practice Physician with geriatrics experience for a 60-day locum tenens assignment in Massachusetts, starting Jan 5, 2026. Schedule: Monday to Friday, full time; provider on-call rotation as required
Responsibilities and Duties
Conduct history and physicals on new participants, and perform event-based and periodic reassessments
Develop medical treatment plans and provide medically necessary services
Interview and evaluate applicants to the PACE Organization
Discuss medical conditions and prognosis with participants and caregivers
Collaborate in the nursing treatment program
Participate as a member of the PACE Organization interdisciplinary team
Educate participants and families regarding care and treatment
Supervise the health care and treatment program
Perform physical examinations, and order and evaluate diagnostic tests
Additional Information
Current and active plenary physician license to practice in Massachusetts required
Board Certification in Internal Medicine or Family Practice required; Board Certification in Geriatrics preferred
DEA Registration and Controlled Substances Registration required
Minimum of one year experience working with a frail or elderly population required
Previous supervisory experience required
Experience or added qualifications in geriatrics preferred
