We are seeking a Geriatric Physician for a 60-day locum tenens assignment in Nebraska, beginning Oct 6, 2025. This role offers day shifts from Monday to Friday, aimed at providing comprehensive care in geriatrics and preventative medicine. The ideal candidate will be involved in patient care that focuses on keeping the elderly population healthy and out of the hospital.

  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM with team huddles at 8:00 AM, first patient at 8:40 AM and the last patient at 4:20 PM

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Provide comprehensive medical care with a focus on elderly patients and chronic care management.
  • Engage with patients to formulate individualized care plans.
  • Utilize technology efficiently for coding and charting to ensure accurate patient records.
  • Conduct assessments that contribute to the preventative care strategies.
  • Ensure consistent follow-ups to monitor patient health outcomes.

Additional Information
  • Required Board Certifications: Family Medicine, Geriatric Medicine, Internal Medicine
  • Licenses Needed: Valid NE medical license
  • Other Required Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Experience: At least 2-3 years in chronic care and community health settings post-residency
