Job Description

We are seeking a highly qualified Gynecologist for a 60-day locum tenens assignment in Oklahoma. This role requires a board-certified or board-eligible physician specialized in Obstetrics and Gynecology. The position starts in August 2025 and includes a full-time schedule with on-call responsibilities during nights and weekends. Ideal candidates will have at least 3 years of experience in an outpatient setting, with IHS experience considered a plus.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care to patients.
  • Manage and treat common health problems and emergencies.
  • Perform routine and advanced gynecological surgeries.
  • Provide prenatal care, reproductive health services, and postnatal care.
  • Collaborate with nursing and administrative staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Utilize the RPMS EMR system to document patient care effectively.

Additional Information
  • Required Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) certifications.
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
