Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Hematology/Oncology Nurse Practitioner for a 120-day locum tenens assignment in Indiana. This opportunity begins on Jan 5, 2026, and features day shifts, Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm. The role is focused on providing consultative care in both oncology and benign hematology, covering solid and liquid malignancies as well as benign hematologic cases.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Provide consultative services in hematology and oncology, focusing on 70 percent oncology and 30 percent benign hematology cases
  • Manage and evaluate patients with solid and liquid malignancies
  • Assess and treat patients with benign hematologic conditions
  • Conduct comprehensive patient consultations within the specialty
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for coordinated patient care
  • Document all patient interactions and clinical findings accurately
  • Adhere to best practices and established protocols in hematology and oncology

Additional Information
  • Active Indiana nurse practitioner license required
  • Board certifications in Hematology and Medical Oncology required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
