Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Hematology/Oncology Nurse Practitioner for a 78-day locum tenens assignment in Missouri. This opportunity begins on Apr 21, 2026, and features 12-hour night shifts from 6p-7a. The ideal candidate will have strong inpatient bone marrow transplant experience and be comfortable managing both clinic and inpatient responsibilities.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Round on patients with the physician
  • Manage an assigned patient panel
  • Perform consults from the emergency department
  • Complete progress notes
  • Oversee care of patients admitted from the clinic to the inpatient unit, many with severe symptoms
  • Bone marrow biopsies preferred but not required
  • Perform or assist with stem cell infusions, strongly preferred

  • Must be licensed as a Nurse Practitioner in Missouri
  • Bone marrow transplant inpatient experience is required
