Job Description

We are seeking a Hematology/Oncology Nurse Practitioner for a 6-month locum tenens assignment in Washington, starting Oct 6, 2025. This role involves a Wednesday to Friday schedule, working from 8 am to 5 pm, providing specialized care in a well-equipped Cancer Center alongside a dedicated oncology team.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Provide comprehensive care to oncology patients in collaboration with an oncology RN and a tele-oncologist.
  • Serve as the primary Nurse Practitioner on-site, with access to consult with providers at the main Cancer Center as needed.
  • Utilize the EMR system (Cerner) to document and manage patient care.
  • Engage in direct patient care activities, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
  • Maintain high standards of care and adhere to all facility protocols.

Additional Information
  • Candidates must be nationally certified with preference given to those holding an Advanced Oncology Certified Nurse Practitioner (AOCNP) certification.
  • Current or extensive previous experience in Hematology/Oncology is required.
  • Must possess a valid Nurse Practitioner license in Washington.
