We are seeking a Hematology/Oncology Physician Assistant for a 260-day locum tenens assignment in California starting Nov 3, 2025. This opportunity features day shifts, Monday through Friday, in an outpatient setting, providing both new patient consultations and follow-up care as part of a collaborative healthcare team.Job Details

Responsibilities and Duties
- Function independently within a team environment to deliver comprehensive outpatient hematology/oncology care
- Manage both new patient consultations and follow-up appointments
- Counsel and educate patients and their families regarding diagnosis, treatment plans, and symptom management
- Maintain accurate, complete, and timely documentation in electronic medical records
Additional Information
- At least one year of hematology/oncology experience is preferred, but strong candidates with a passion for the field will be considered
- Must hold a valid and unrestricted California PA license
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
- Current National Board Certification (PA-C)
- Current BLS certification
- Furnishing license required
- DEA license must be obtained within 3 months of starting
- Demonstrated advanced clinical judgment, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently
