Schedule: Outpatient clinic Monday to Friday, 36 hours of patient care per week between 8:00 AM and 5:30 PM; call rotation every 4th or 5th week (one full week at a time); hospital consults on weekdays, rounding on weekends as needed
Responsibilities and Duties
Manage approximately 70 percent oncology and 30 percent benign hematology consults
Provide care for patients with solid and liquid malignancies and benign hematologic conditions
Perform comprehensive consultative assessments and formulate management plans
Participate in call rotation, including one full week every 4th or 5th week, with hospital visits for new consults on weekdays and rounding on weekends
Deliver outpatient ambulatory clinic coverage, ensuring high-quality patient care
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care
Accurately document all patient encounters
Additional Information
Indiana license required
Board certifications in Hematology and Medical Oncology required
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
