Locum Tenens Physician Assistant - Hematology/Oncology Needed in MO

Job Description

We are seeking a Hematology/Oncology Physician Assistant for an engaging 24-day locum tenens assignment in MO, commencing Jun 8, 2026. This role involves night shifts (7p-7a), where you will round with physicians, manage a dedicated patient panel, conduct ER consults, and document progress notes. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in stem cell infusions, supporting a clinic that operates seven days a week and is integrated with an inpatient unit.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Perform stem cell infusions (strongly preferred).
• Round on patients collaboratively with physicians.
• Manage a dedicated patient panel.
• Conduct consults for patients from the ER.
• Document comprehensive progress notes.
• Manage patients presenting with severe symptoms, often leading to inpatient admission.
• Care for Hematology and Oncology patients, including those within the Car T program, managed on a dedicated floor.
