Job Description

We are seeking a Hematology/Oncology Physician Assistant for a locum tenens assignment in Oregon. This role begins on Mar 23, 2026, and offers a 100-day contract with a consistent schedule of 7:30am to 4:30pm, working four 10-hour shifts weekly with a rotating off day. You will provide care to established and new patients in a clinic setting, ensuring continuity for the practice as our current Nurse Practitioner transitions off the assignment.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Manage care for patients of the previous physician in the clinic as well as new patients
  • Deliver comprehensive hematology and oncology services in an outpatient clinic environment
  • Coordinate with the clinical team to ensure continuity of care
  • Document all patient interactions using Epic EMR
  • Uphold the highest standards of patient safety and confidentiality

Additional Information
  • Must have a current Oregon license
  • Required board certifications: Hematology and Medical Oncology
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required
  • Recent and relevant experience in hematology/oncology strongly preferred
  • Proficiency with Epic EMR
