Job Description

Our client in California seeks a dedicated Hematologist/Oncologist Physician for a 120-day assignment starting Mar 30, 2026. This full-time role, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, focuses on 60% hematology and 40% oncology cases. Duties involve patient evaluations, physical examinations, prescribing, patient education, and administering chemotherapy and infusions. Details on potential limited call and inpatient rounding are being finalized.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Manage a patient panel focused on 60% hematology and 40% oncology cases
  • Conduct patient evaluations and physical examinations
  • Write prescriptions
  • Provide specific cancer information and education to patients
  • Monitor and adjust patient treatment plans
  • Administer chemotherapy and infusions on site
  • Utilize in-house pharmacy services
  • Perform bone marrow biopsies (a plus, but not required)
