Locum Tenens Physician - Hematologist/Oncologist Needed in CA

Job Description

We are seeking a Hematologist/Oncologist Physician for a 120-day assignment in California, starting Mar 30, 2026. Our client requires coverage Monday through Friday, 8:30a-5:00p, where you will manage a patient mix of hematology and oncology cases, performing evaluations, examinations, writing prescriptions, and overseeing treatments including chemotherapy and infusions.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Manage a patient mix of approximately 60% hematology and 40% oncology cases.
• Perform patient evaluations and physical examinations.
• Write prescriptions.
• Provide specific cancer information to patients.
• Monitor patient treatment plans.
• Administer chemotherapy.
• Oversee on-site infusions.
• Perform bone marrow biopsies (not required but a plus).

• Required Board Certifications: Hematology and Medical Oncology.
