Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Hematology/Oncology Physician to provide both outpatient and inpatient care in Indiana, starting Sep 1, 2025, for a 120-day locum tenens assignment. The role requires managing a dynamic schedule that includes day shifts from Monday to Thursday, participation in Tumor Board meetings every Tuesday at 7 AM, and on-call duties during weeknights and weekends.

  • 8 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday-Thursday

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Provide comprehensive care to hematology and oncology patients.
  • Conduct 30-minute consultations with new patients.
  • Manage 15-minute follow-up visits.
  • Participate in and contribute to Tumor Board discussions.
  • Manage both scheduled and emergency cases during on-call hours.

Additional Information
  • Board certification in Hematology and Medical Oncology required.
  • Must be licensed to practice in Indiana.
  • Experience with the Epic EMR system is essential for efficient patient care management.
