Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM–5:30 PM; 36 hours of ambulatory clinic coverage per week; call rotation every 4th or 5th week (one full week at a time); expected hospital visits for new consults on weekdays, rounding on weekends as needed
Responsibilities and Duties
Provide consultative care for solid and liquid malignancies, as well as benign hematology cases
Manage a caseload consisting of approximately 70% oncology and 30% hematology (primarily benign)
Deliver patient care in an outpatient clinic setting and perform hospital consults as scheduled
Participate in a call rotation, providing coverage for one full week every 4th or 5th week
Conduct hospital rounding on weekends as required
Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure high-quality patient care and continuity
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all patient encounters
Additional Information
Indiana medical license required
Board certification in Hematology and Medical Oncology required
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
