Job Description

We are seeking a Hematology/Oncology Physician for a 60-day locum tenens assignment in Massachusetts. This role, starting on Sep 1, 2025, offers a flexible schedule with options for a 4 or 5-day work week and includes night and weekend call rotations for inpatient consults. The ideal candidate will provide care for both solid tumors and hematologic malignancies in a dynamic hospital setting.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Admit patients and share inpatient consultation services
  • Provide care for conditions including but not limited to:
  • Breast cancer
  • Lung cancer, including non-small cell
  • Colon and rectal cancers
  • Prostate cancer
  • Hematologic malignancies such as leukemia, lymphoma, and multiple myeloma
  • Treat benign hematology conditions like anemia and clotting disorders
  • Ensure equal distribution of night and weekend call duties
  • Manage a patient load comprising 40% hematology and 60% oncology cases

Additional Information
  • Must be board certified in Hematology and Medical Oncology
  • Licensed to practice in Massachusetts
  • Proficient with the Epic EMR system
