Job Description

We are seeking a board-certified Hematologist/Oncologist for a 60-day locum tenens opportunity in North Carolina, starting Feb 2, 2026. This full-time role offers a 4.5-day work week with day shifts Monday through Thursday and a half-day on Friday, primarily in an outpatient setting with minimal call responsibilities.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Provide comprehensive care for breast, lung, gastrointestinal, and genitourinary oncology patients
  • Participate in Tumor Boards and Cancer Committee involvement if interested
  • Deliver high-quality hematology and oncology services in a predominantly outpatient practice
  • Take part in minimal call rotation with strong nurse triage support
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Additional Information
  • Must be board certified in Hematology and Medical Oncology
  • Active North Carolina medical license required
  • Valid Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) certification required
  • Experience with Epic EMR preferred
