Job Description

We are seeking a Physician - Hematologist/Oncologist for a 60-day assignment in North Carolina, starting Mar 16, 2026. This role primarily involves outpatient hematology/oncology, focusing on cases such as Breast, Lung, GI, and GU Oncology. The schedule is Monday-Thursday, 8-5, with Fridays until noon, including a 2% call rotation with 1:3 shared call and 24-hr nurse triage support.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Manage cases across Breast, Lung, GI, and GU Oncology
  • Opportunity for involvement in Tumor Boards and Cancer Committee
  • Maintain a 98% outpatient practice
  • Participate in a 2% call rotation: 1:3 shared call, with 24-hr nurse triage support
  • Treat case types including Breast Cancer, Lung Cancer, Gastrointestinal (Colorectal) Cancer, and Genitourinary Cancer (including Prostate, Bladder)
  • No Leukemia, Bone Marrow Biopsies (BMB), Bone Marrow Transplants (BMT)/Stem Cell Transplants (SCT) required
