Locum Tenens Physician - Hematologist/Oncologist Needed in NC

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Hematologist/Oncologist Physician for a 60-day assignment in North Carolina, starting Jun 15, 2026. This role involves working 9-hour shifts, from 7:00 to 16:00, within an ambulatory Hem/Onc Clinic. The successful candidate will focus on patient follow-ups, new patient consultations, writing orders and prescriptions, and communicating with pharmacies, with a strong emphasis on benign hematology and bread-and-butter Hem/Onc cases.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide care within an Ambulatory Hem/Onc Clinic
• Conduct patient follow-ups and see new patients
• Write medical orders and prescriptions
• Communicate effectively with pharmacies regarding patient medications
• Focus on benign hematology cases
• Manage a variety of bread and butter hematology and oncology cases
