Locum Tenens Physician - Hematologist/Oncologist Needed in OH

Job Description

We are seeking a Hematology/Oncology Physician for a locum tenens assignment in Ohio, starting on Apr 1, 2026, with a 12-week contract. This opportunity involves providing three weekday shifts per month, 8am-5pm, supporting the APP team and managing patients requiring chemotherapy or care for blood disorders.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Evaluate and manage new patients needing chemotherapy or with blood disorders
• Develop and formalize care plans according to NCCN guidelines
• Place and manage orders in the system, including reauthorizations
• Collaborate and provide support to the APP team

Additional Information

• Active Ohio medical license required
• Board certification in Hematology and Medical Oncology required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required
• Willingness to work collaboratively with the APP team is essential
