Job Description

We are seeking a Physician - Hematologist/Oncologist for an exciting 96-day assignment in Tennessee, starting Jun 1, 2026. This full-time, outpatient role involves Monday through Thursday shifts from 8 AM to 5 PM, and Fridays from 8 AM to 12 PM, with no call responsibilities. The successful candidate will manage an average of 15 patients per day, focusing on general medical oncology and benign hematology cases, with the capability to perform bone marrow biopsies in the office.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide comprehensive outpatient care in Hematology and Medical Oncology.
  • Manage an average of 15 patients per day.
  • Work collaboratively with a full-time Advanced Practice Provider.
  • Perform bone marrow biopsies within the office setting.
  • Handle all other necessary procedures in a fusion room or hospital.
  • Manage a patient load expected to grow beyond 200 visits per month.
  • Focus on approximately 60% Medical Oncology and 40% Hematology cases, primarily general Medical Oncology and benign Hematology.
  • Note: No academic or research opportunities are available.


Additional Information

  • Board Certification in Hematology and Medical Oncology is required.
  • Experience with Cerner EMR system.
  • Bone Marrow Biopsy capability is preferred.
