Job Description

We are seeking a Hematology/Oncology Physician for a 60-day locum tenens assignment in Virginia, starting Apr 20, 2026. This opportunity offers a consistent Monday-Thursday clinic schedule, with additional Friday and call responsibilities every third week, supporting both outpatient hematology/oncology clinics and infusion centers.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide outpatient hematology and oncology care, including patient consultations and follow-up visits
  • Float between two sister outpatient clinics; one with an infusion room and on-site radiation oncology, the other with an infusion center
  • Collaborate with infusion and radiation oncology teams for comprehensive patient management
  • Participate in call coverage, Monday through Sunday, every third week
  • Maintain accurate and thorough documentation in accordance with clinical standards
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable medical protocols and safety procedures


Additional Information

  • Board certification in Hematology required (or pending board examination)
  • Active Virginia medical license required
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant clinical experience
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
