Job Description

 Barton Associates is seeking a Hematologist/Oncologist physician for a locum tenens position in West Virginia. This 120-day assignment begins on 12/08/2025, and offers a clinic-based role with some inpatient rounding. The schedule is Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m., with lighter Fridays and 1:4 call. Typical workload includes seeing approximately 15 patients per day in the clinic and around 5 inpatient. The ideal candidate should be comfortable with both outpatient and inpatient care, possess a valid West Virginia medical license, and have experience with Epic EMR system. This opportunity offers a chance for extension and provides a balanced work schedule in a hospital setting.

• Participate in 1:4 call rotation

• Utilize Epic EMR system for patient documentation and management

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient care

• Adhere to hospital policies and procedures

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of hematology and oncology best practices
