Responsibilities and Duties
Provide nocturnist med surg coverage at multiple hospital locations
Rotate primarily to critical access sites, covering higher and lower acuity cases
Manage 1-4 admissions per night at critical access locations independently, without staff support
Handle 10-12 admissions per night at larger facilities with MD and APP support
Utilize Meditech, CPSI, Epic, and Cerner EMR systems as required by each site
Deliver high-quality care while operating solo or as part of a team depending on the location
Additional Information
Hospitalist experience required
Active Illinois Nurse Practitioner license required
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Must be comfortable working independently in solo coverage settings
Familiarity with Meditech, CPSI, Epic, and Cerner EMR platforms is essential
