This role is designed for an APP who will manage an average daily patient census of 17-21, with typical responsibilities including managing admissions and responding to hospital codes. This position does not include critical care or emergency department backup duties. The assignment leverages the Epic EMR system and is set within a comprehensive medical team environment.

Responsibilities and Duties
Manage a daily inpatient census of 17-21 patients
Handle 8-10 patients per APP per day
Manage 4-6 admissions during the day and 5-7 at night
Respond to hospital codes (non-ED)
Consult on patient holds in the Emergency Department
Coordinate care with a diverse medical team including General Surgery, Emergency Medicine, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Cardiology, Orthopedics, ENT, Primary Care, and Oncology
Additional Information
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Must be licensed as a Nurse Practitioner in North Carolina
