Responsibilities and Duties
  • Manage 8-10 acute care patients per day with minimal trauma and minor cases.
  • Handle up to 1 EICU patient per day with slightly higher acuity, including tele-consults with a UW physician.
  • Ensure effective patient management and quality of care within the emergency room setting.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Utilize Meditech EHR for documentation and patient management.

Additional Information
  • Required Board Certifications: Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Certification (ACNP-BC)
  • Must hold a valid Nurse Practitioner license in Wisconsin.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
  • Ideal candidates should have experience in acute care hospital settings.
