Responsibilities and Duties
- Manage 8-10 acute care patients per day with minimal trauma and minor cases.
- Handle up to 1 EICU patient per day with slightly higher acuity, including tele-consults with a UW physician.
- Ensure effective patient management and quality of care within the emergency room setting.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes.
- Utilize Meditech EHR for documentation and patient management.
Additional Information
- Required Board Certifications: Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Certification (ACNP-BC)
- Must hold a valid Nurse Practitioner license in Wisconsin.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
- Ideal candidates should have experience in acute care hospital settings.
