Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Hospitalist for a 42-day locum tenens nocturnist assignment with our client in Maryland, starting Dec 16, 2025. This full-time opportunity features a 7-on/7-off night schedule, covering floors and admissions alongside a team of physicians, with shifts from 7pm to 7am and occasional 3pm to 3am coverage.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Provide nocturnist coverage for hospital floors and admissions
  • Participate as a member of the Rapid Response team
  • Collaborate with two other physicians (two on floors, one in ED)
  • Work exclusively with a closed ICU (no ICU procedures required)
  • Adhere to all scheduled shifts with full-time, two weeks per month availability

Additional Information
  • Board certification required in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required
  • Only full-time candidates able to provide two weeks of night coverage per month will be considered
  • No procedures required
