Job Description
We are seeking a Hospitalist Physician for a 3-day assignment in North Carolina, starting Jun 12, 2026. This role involves managing an average inpatient census of 54 patients, handling 16-18 patients per day, and approximately 2 admissions daily, primarily during night shifts from 7:30p-7:30a. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with ICU/critical care duties, including vent management, and will not be expected to serve as backup to the ER, focusing on our client's surgical, medical, and ICU units.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Manage an average total inpatient census of 54 patients.
- Oversee 16-18 patients per day.
- Handle an average of 2 admissions per day.
- Perform ICU/Critical Care duties, including vent management.
- Manage patients within a Surgical Unit, a Medical Unit, and a ICU.
- Not expected to serve as backup to the ER.
