Responsibilities and Duties
Provide hospitalist care for admitted patients during assigned shifts
Conduct morning rounds and manage patient care plans
Respond to inpatient needs and emergencies as they arise throughout the shift
Take out-of-house call after rounds until the next morning
Collaborate with hospital staff to support quality patient care
Utilize Cerner EMR for patient documentation and communication
Additional Information
Current license to practice in New Mexico required
Board certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine required
Prior experience as a rural health hospitalist provider preferred
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required
NPDB documentation must be provided with the application
