Job Description

We are seeking a Hospitalist Physician for an 84-day locum tenens assignment in New York, starting Sep 11, 2025. This position requires managing patient care in a not-for-profit, 94-bed community healthcare facility that includes emergency medicine, acute care, and critical care with a Trauma Center. The schedule consists of 12-hour night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM, working on a 7 on 7 off basis.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide comprehensive hospitalist services in a critical care environment.
  • Manage admissions and patient rounds.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient care.
  • Respond to emergencies and provide stabilization measures.
  • Utilize the Epic EMR system to document patient interactions and treatment plans.


Additional Information

  • Must be board certified or truly board eligible in Internal Medicine or Hospital Medicine.
  • Required certifications: ACLS, BLS.
  • All applicants must hold a valid New York medical license.
  • ICU experience is essential for this role.
  • Candidates should be prepared to explain any CV gaps over 30 days.
