Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Hospitalist for a 42-day locum tenens assignment in New York. This opportunity begins on Oct 28, 2025, and features a 7 on/7 off schedule covering mid shifts from 3pm to 3am in a closed ICU setting. The physician will work alongside residents, with a starting census of 12–15 patients per night and 3–6 admissions nightly. No procedures are required, and Epic is used for documentation.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Provide inpatient hospital medicine care during mid shifts in a closed ICU
  • Supervise and collaborate with residents
  • Manage a starting census of 12–15 patients per night
  • Admit 3–6 patients per night
  • Complete all documentation in Epic EMR
  • Participate in a 7 on/7 off rotation with no procedures required

Additional Information
  • New York medical license required
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required
  • Board certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine required
  • Previous experience with Epic preferred
