This 35-day opportunity features 24-hour shifts (7a-7a) and requires board certification in hospital medicine. The schedule includes several consecutive week-long blocks through Mar 29, 2026, supporting inpatient care without pediatric responsibilities.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Provide inpatient care with ICU support not required
  • Manage acute and chronic cases, including non-invasive and invasive ventilation
  • Interpret EKGs and conduct cardiac stress tests
  • Collaborate with anesthesia, general surgery, lab, orthopedic surgery, and radiology teams
  • Ensure high-quality care for adult patients; pediatric care is not required

Additional Information
  • Active Texas medical license required
  • Board certification in hospital medicine required
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required
  • Fellowship training preferred
