We are seeking a Hospitalist for a 7-day locum tenens assignment in Vermont starting Feb 17, 2026. This opportunity features 12-hour day shifts in the hospital from 7 am to 7 pm, with overnight call coverage (7 pm to 7 am) supporting night hospitalist APPs. The role may require very rare in-person attendance overnight, as experienced APPs handle most issues.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Provide inpatient hospitalist coverage during scheduled day shifts
  • Serve as overnight on-call support for night hospitalist APPs (7 pm to 7 am)
  • Respond to rare overnight hospital needs requiring in-person presence
  • Collaborate with APPs to ensure quality patient care
  • Document patient care using the Cerner EMR system

Additional Information
  • Vermont medical license required
  • Board Certification in Internal Medicine required
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
