We are seeking an experienced Infectious Disease Nurse Practitioner for a 70-day locum tenens assignment in Florida, starting Nov 10, 2025. Job Details

Responsibilities and Duties

• Assess patient health status and conduct comprehensive physical examinations and evaluations
• Provide treatment and prescribe medications for patients with infectious diseases, including HIV
• Develop care plans and coordinate follow-up care in collaboration with the medical team
• Make appropriate referrals to other health professionals as needed
• Document all patient interactions in the electronic health record (EHR)
• Write admitting orders and ensure continuity of care within the clinic and external facilities
• Advocate for rapid entry to care initiatives and collaborate with front office and clinic staff to uphold quality care standards
• Deliver competent and compassionate medical care while maintaining a high standard of patient service

Additional Information

• Florida nurse practitioner license required
• Experience in HIV treatment strongly preferred
• Ability to function autonomously and work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
