Responsibilities and Duties
Assess patient health status and conduct comprehensive physical examinations and evaluations
Provide treatment and prescribe medications for patients with infectious diseases, including HIV
Develop care plans and coordinate follow-up care in collaboration with the medical team
Make appropriate referrals to other health professionals as needed
Document all patient interactions in the electronic health record (EHR)
Write admitting orders and ensure continuity of care within the clinic and external facilities
Advocate for rapid entry to care initiatives and collaborate with front office and clinic staff to uphold quality care standards
Deliver competent and compassionate medical care while maintaining a high standard of patient service
Additional Information
Florida nurse practitioner license required
Experience in HIV treatment strongly preferred
Ability to function autonomously and work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
