Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide outpatient adult primary care, focusing on chronic disease management
• Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop treatment plans
• Manage complex cases efficiently within 20-minute appointment windows
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes
• Ensure compliance with national clinical and safety standards

Additional Information

• Minimum 3 years of experience in an internal medicine or family medicine outpatient setting as a Nurse Practitioner
• Must hold a national certification; AHA versions of required certifications only
• Required certifications: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA)
• Required board certifications: Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
• Must be licensed to practice in California
• Candidates credentialed with KP SCAL may be eligible for an earlier start date
