We are seeking a confident Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner for a 5-day locum tenens assignment in California, starting Mar 16, 2026. This clinic-based role offers day shifts, Monday through Friday, and involves low patient volume with some days seeing no patients and busy days averaging 5-6 cases.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Conduct patient assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans for adult and geriatric populations
  • Work autonomously and coordinate with clinic staff during daily huddles
  • Manage low patient volume, with some days seeing no patients and busy days up to 5-6 patients
  • Complete thorough and descriptive charting for patient records
  • Ensure adherence to clinical protocols and quality care standards

Additional Information
  • Must hold active California Nurse Practitioner license
  • Required certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA)
  • Required board certifications: Family Medicine, Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner Certification (AGPCNP-BC)
  • Prior urgent care experience is a plus
  • Ability to work independently and demonstrate sound clinical judgment
