Job Description

We are seeking an Internal Medicine Nurse Practitioner for a 7-day assignment in California, starting May 21, 2026. This role involves managing a low volume of urgent care based cases such as cold, cough, flu, musculoskeletal injuries, rashes, and medication management, with shifts from 9:30am to 5:30pm. The provider will be responsible for descriptive charting and participating in staff huddles.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide care for a low patient volume, with typical busy days seeing 5-6 patients.
  • Participate in brief staff huddles upon clocking in.
  • Ensure comprehensive and descriptive charting for all patient interactions.
  • Manage urgent care based cases such as cold, cough, flu, musculoskeletal injuries, rashes, and medication management.
  • Perform no urgent care procedures.


Additional Information

  • Required Board Certifications: Family Medicine, Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner Certification (AGPCNP-BC).
