We are seeking an experienced Internal Medicine Physician Assistant for an 80-day locum tenens assignment in California, starting Dec 8, 2025. This role features a Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm schedule, providing outpatient adult primary care in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Deliver bread and butter outpatient adult primary care to patients with multiple health issues
  • Manage chronic care cases and internal medicine needs
  • Conduct patient visits in 20-minute blocks, ensuring efficient and thorough care
  • Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes


Additional Information

  • Minimum 3 years experience in an internal medicine or family medicine outpatient setting as a Physician Assistant required
  • Must be comfortable with a high-volume schedule and complex adult cases
  • National certification required
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) certifications required (AHA versions)
  • Required board certifications: Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
  • Must be licensed to practice in California
