Job Description

We are seeking an Internal Medicine Physician for a 48-day locum tenens assignment in California, starting Mar 16, 2026. This full-time telehealth role involves providing daily patient care from 9a-6p. Responsibilities include preventative medicine, wellness checks, managing minor acute illnesses, and comprehensive chronic disease management for a diverse patient population.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide telehealth services for various Internal Medicine cases and procedures.
• Conduct preventative medicine, general checkups, and wellness checks.
• Manage minor acute illnesses.
• Address longevity medicine and functional medicine cases, including microbiome testing.
• Oversee chronic disease management, such as diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, asthma, and respiratory conditions.
• Serve diverse patient populations, including those in rural or underserved communities with limited local healthcare access.

Additional Information

• Providers must be relatively tech-savvy, as the client utilizes tools for biomarker tracking and health optimization.
