We are seeking an experienced Internal Medicine Physician for a locum tenens clinical director assignment in Connecticut. This 60-day opportunity begins on Oct 27, 2025, with a Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 5:30 pm schedule. The position offers a blend of clinical and administrative responsibilities, including oversight of advanced practice providers (APPs). Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience and be board certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Serve as interim locum adult medicine clinical director
  • Oversee and support APPs within the clinic
  • Split time evenly between clinical care and administrative duties
  • Participate in orientation and EMR training prior to assuming full responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care once acclimated to administrative and scheduling duties

Additional Information
  • Must hold a current Connecticut medical license
  • Required board certifications: Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and DEA certification required
  • Minimum of 2 years clinical experience required
  • Assignment start is dependent on credentialing (estimated 3-4 weeks)
